Statement of Faith

What we believe in?

  • We believe in the divine inspiration, authority and sufficiency of scripture.
  • We believe in the unity of the Godhead, with the distinction of the persons in that unity, namely the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit, to whom equal honour is due.
  • We believe that the Son of God willingly became man, conceived of the Holy Spirit; His body prepared by God and was born of the virgin Mary.
  • We believe that the death of the Lord Jesus Christ was the sacrifice to God for sin and that nobody can come to the Father but through the new and living way, which the Lord Jesus Christ has created as a result of that sacrifice.
  • We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ was raised from the dead and that He ascended to the right hand of God, where He now is and is the all sufficient High Priest for His people.
  • We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ will come again and that:
    • He will receive His own to be with Him.
    • He will establish His rule and Kingdom.
    • Ultimately He will “deliver the Kingdom to the Father and usher in the eternal state where God will be all in all”.
  • We believe that as a consequence of the fall of Adam, all humanity is “under sin” and cannot serve God without the regenerating power of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
  • We believe that justification is by faith alone, that everyone who is justified is born of God. The New Birth is evident by holiness of life, good works and obedience to the Word of God.
  • We believe that at death, the spirit of man does not cease to exist or become unconscious and that the dead will be raised either to eternal life or eternal condemnation.
